About the Authors
Jessica Love is a science writer and editor for Kellogg Insight, the Kellogg School of Management’s online magazine covering faculty research. Before coming to Kellogg in 2013, she received her PhD in cognitive psychology from Ohio State University, and then spent a year as a postdoc studying language acquisition at the University of Illinois. She also writes Psycho Babble, a blog about language, for The American Scholar.

Tim De Chant was a writer and editor for Kellogg Insight between 2009 and 2012. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Policy and Management from the University of California, Berkeley before joining Kellogg. His byline has appeared in the Chicago Tribune, Ars Technica, and the Berkeley Science Review. He is now a Senior Digital Editor for NOVA at WGBH.

Patricia Ledesma is Assistant Dean at the Kellogg School of Management, in charge of the school’s research support team. She is a member of Kellogg Insight‘s editorial and operations boards. She completed her Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Notre Dame.
